Not new to being involved in the pigeon sport I was the New England Open Chairman from 1990-1996.The Greater Boston Concourse Race Secretary with 150 members and liberator 10 of the last 13 years. A club race secretary every year since 1984 two years after I started flying pigeons.
In the early 1990's I was on the AU computer committee and a tech support for the old AU race program. It was when the AU went the direction of the RaceMaster program I decided to resign from that position. While as a Race Program tech, I helped many race secretaries around the World. One pigeon flyer from Kuwait called for help with the AU race program. We spent many hours on the phone due to language problems. After he was up and running, he offered me a job as his club's race secretary. He offered a place to live and a job for my wife if she wanted it. But, as conservative New Englanders, we decided to stay here with our kids.
